Your Mission
We are seeking a Controller to join our finance team. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the incumbent will play a key role in the financial management and analysis of the company. They will work closely with the accounting team, composed of three technicians, to optimize processes and ensure the reliability of financial data.
Our finance team plays a strategic role in ensuring rigorous and optimized financial resource management. We are looking for motivated talent eager to contribute actively to our growth and be part of a committed and cohesive team.
The Controller will also be responsible for using and optimizing our ERP system, Acumatica, to ensure the efficient management of accounting and financial operations.
Your Role
- Supervise and coordinate the company’s accounting and financial operations.
- Support and oversee the accounting team (accounting technicians and accounts payable & procurement technician) in their daily tasks.
- Ensure the production and analysis of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review and optimize accounts payable, accounts receivable, and procurement management processes.
- Participate in the company’s budgeting process and ensure overall monitoring by team and by project.
- Prepare variance reports and explanations between actual results, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Contribute to the implementation and/or optimization of internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Strictly apply accounting standards, particularly revenue recognition and intercompany transactions.
- Monitor cash flows and collaborate with the VP of Finance to optimize financial management.
- Prepare reports and documents required for external audits.
- Work with Acumatica (ERP) to ensure data integrity, optimize accounting processes, and generate relevant financial reports.
- Identify and propose improvements to accounting and financial processes to enhance efficiency and financial reporting quality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor or required by the role.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional designation: CPA
- Minimum5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in manufacturing and/or construction sectors.
Skills and Qualities
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (as required by the company).
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Experience in team management or personnel supervision.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally Acumatica.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Collaborative leadership and strong team spirit.
