How many electric vehicles do I need to participate in monetization programs?
You don’t need a large electric fleet to access monetization programs. With Cleo, these programs are available across all our plans, even if you’re just getting started with your first electric vehicles.
The revenue potential depends primarily on battery size, energy consumption, and vehicle usage cycles. The larger and more energy‑intensive your batteries are, the greater your potential earnings or carbon compliance units (CCUs).

Are these monetization programs available everywhere?

- Carbon compliance unit (credit) monetization programs, on the other hand, are based on federal regulations in both Canada and the United States. Cleo currently provides access to the Canadian carbon credit program, and our team is working to extend this service to the U.S. market in the near future.
Do I need to use the Cleo platform to participate in these programs?
No. You don’t need the Cleo platform to take part in power demand management programs or carbon compliance credit monetization. Several third‑party intermediaries also offer these services.
